Some Mentionings of "Princess" and "Zelda" on a Certain "Game Show"

#1

Post by Mario500 » Sat Jul 13, 2019 5:21 pm

I had found what I had believed to had been a recording of a certain installment of a certain "game show" originally broadcast in the calendar year 1982 involving some mentioning of a certain "Zelda" and had wanted to say I had found it to had been very interesting for appearing to have had a certain being saying the word "princess" in reference to her and for appearing to have him describing his self as someone who had written "computer video games":

[Mod Edit: It happens at 8:37, but it's mid-round, so you might wanna go back a couple minutes before that to see the lead-up, if you're into game shows. ~Hayfever]

Interesting.
So, for those who weren't aware, Miyamoto named the princess after the writer; however, as you probably are aware, LoZ came out in 1986, 4 years after this episode aired. In fact, development on the game didn't even begin until 1984, so not even a Japanese game developer, much less an American one, could possibly have known that.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Thanks, Capt, for editing in an annotation for when this happens--I don't have time to watch the whole thing but I did have enough time to watch the intros and in profile, R.J. kinda looks like Neil Patrick Harris. (I'll watch the clip itself in a bit, though!)

I did not mind the "annotation" (I had considered adding one before posting here, but had figured anyone who might be interested in these mentionings would want to watch the video involving them from its beginning up to the parts of it involving them in order to understand them).

Could you tell me what "tip" you were referencing and when it was given?

This is like when that YouTuber posted an AMV of Sonic back in like 2007 or something and chose Gangster's Paradise as the music.
