We drove the coast of Cali from LA to Santa Barbara the last few days and got 100+ Pokemon and 9 levels. Looks like you can't play well when the car is going past 35-40 mph and you definitely can't go to gyms. There were too many poke stops to count. They're in cities and not in places with no civilization, but that makes sense. Even the smallest little towns have at least one gym and 20-30 stops.

Based on my car adventure, I'd say biking is probably the best way to go. Walking is too slow and driving can be too fast. Though driving through 30mph streets, you get the best stops.

I can't wait to go back home to my bigger cities and lose like 20 lb walking around the place. So glad it's my summer vacation until mid-August!

Go blue team!!

Zombie would be a great status effect.

In some not cool news, a group of teens in Missouri used the Lure Module to attract players to secluded areas to rob them.

A friend on FB posted an article about how a girl playing Pokemon Go found a dead body.

And he was like "Must have been a gastly."

Yeah, that's unfortunate. It's just another reminder to stay safe while playing this game.

Reminds me of that one time when that whole General Petraeus thing happened and I was like "More like General BETRAYUS" and someone linked me to dozens of Twitter posts of people making the same joke.

Nintendo's shares are soaring because of this game. I have to say, I'm impressed. I don't remember Pokémon being this popular since it first came to the U.S.

^^^I love how they chose as their champion...another Fairy-type.

And remember, "I'm-a Charizard, number, well, six."
