Ratchet and Clank/Oddworld/Spider-Man is a hell of a trio for me

IDK THAT STRAY CAT SIM LOOKED FUEGO.

cat ladies and cat daddy's rejoice.

Ratchet and Clank and Horizon Zero Dawn looked real good.

As for spider-man, I bought the last one and didn't really get into it at all. I think i'm done with superhero video games. The movies are still okay but the games just are lost on me.

Superhero video games have never been very good imo, aside from some fighting games. I'm sure there's some other exceptions but Miles Morales certainly isn't going to change my mind, that's for sure. No Peter Parker is an instant dealbreaker for me.

I took a closer look at the lineup though, it's not as bad as I thought. Ghostwire in particular seems interesting.

Pretty much everything except GTA, Spiderman, and NBA were interesting to me, and there's really nothing any of those three could've done differently to catch me. Just not for me.

I'm a little disappointed that Horizon chose the (further) western US for the next setting, though. Obviously they have a ton of room to deviate from reality, but the actual region doesn't really differ that much from what they had in the first one. Going in any other direction would've been a bit more interesting IMO. That said, we don't know how big the map is, and it's entirely possible they'll pull in some of Canada and Mexico on top of the Californian stuff we saw in the trailer.

The kitty is wearing a little backpack; Day 1 purchase for me.

Also, little disappointed that there wasn't anything about Lost Soul Aside, but the dev's twitter confirmed they were still working on it a few months ago.

Apparently, there was a hands-on reveal stream for the PS5 controller.

$499 for the disc drive version, that is. The digital version will cost $399.

Kind of annoying that they split it like that. Convenient for some. Personally, I'd have met them somewhere in the middle. Makes sense why they'd want to push digital but still.

PS5 interests me a lot more than Xbox right now just because there are at least a couple PS5-exclusives that interest me. However I don't think I'm getting one any time soon. The launch lineup for both consoles is really rough, and the one launch game I'm interested in, Miles Morales, is coming out for PS4.

More than happy with Switch/PS4 right now.

Not sure when I'm going to pick up a PS5, but I'm definitely playing Ragnarock.
