Does that mean there’s never such a thing as “one more game,” or that there’s always such a thing as “one more game”?
Uh.

*checks college book on grammar and syntax*

Yeah.

There's never not no such thing therefore as one more game in Smash.

Whenever I tell myself "just one more game" it always ends up being like five more.

That's what I mean.

I'm finding the bad endings harder than the good ending for a couple of reasons.

Beat them both tonight. 100% hard mode. Kinda getting burned out on single player, though. Will be nice to get online against some folks.

Well, three things really. One, you get three stocks (different fighters) to beat them together, versus the one to fight them separately. Two is that they will fight each other a bit, and you can dodge attacks from one behind the other to damage that one.
The third thing is when you fight them together, if you kill one, the other gets really strong, but you can avoid that if you kill them about the same time. I killed Dharkon during Galeem's death animation. Fighting them apart, they each get that strong at half health.
Now they do each get stronger at half health, but they stay on their own sides and, again, are hurting each other along the way.

I'm having that problem too. Gotta relearn the game, so to speak. Playing in arenas is a good idea because then you don't have GSP on the back of your mind and you avoid blatant GSP farmers.

I'm starting to think part of my problem was that I've spent most of my time playing this game with all these adventure mode skills on. Trained myself with the wrong reaction times.

Finished up the Sacred Realm tonight. Calamity Ganon had me worried because of the ally escort condition, but then he turned out to be nothin' (I don't think Zelda even got hit once). The freaking Dark Emperor, on the other hand....

Dark Realm fights are definitely harder than the Light Realm ones. If all else fails, just use Giant and Metal and smack the opponent really hard until you win. I've also gotten REALLY lucky with a few fights. About to fight Dharkon which should lead to the final board, barring some twist.

I recently toyed with Dark Samus. I read there were differences but they must be minute, because I can't really tell. Looks different so it feels different but it might just be animation differences.

Dark Samus is weightier and floaty in comparison to regular Samus, at least from the amount of time I've played as her.

outside of animations, dark samus differences are minor: upsmash has slightly more range meaning it hits smaller targets on the ground easier, but fsmash has slightly less range. dsamus's rolls are about 3 frames (1/20th of a second) faster, and missiles travel slightly lower to the ground

Finished the Mysterious Dimension tonight. Trevor is a pain. Advice for fighting Dark Matter: Use Pikachu, so you can cheat the darkness with electric attacks.

2.0.0 update is coming soon; offload your replays. This will probably be the Piranha Plant release.

Character Changes

Note that some of them are a bit misleading due to wording.

Sounds like King K. Rool got some nerfs, that's too bad. I hope those Samus buffs make a difference.

The Rool buffs actually aren't too bad in practice, they're more or less just affect low-level scrub tactics. I think Mega Man got the biggest nerf due to losing his pellet cancel but he's still good.

This is the most mobile potted plant I have ever seen.
