It was cold and breezey when I got out the store this morning. Like, sometimes that's refreshing after a hard night, and sometimes I'm stood there at the bus stop shivering like a chihuahua. Today was the latter.

Hovering around freezing. It usually doesn't get this cold for another month or so.

We had a very short-lived thunderstorm. The lightning and thunder were awesome. Sadly... no rain!! :D

It snowed slightly couple days back. Sun hasn't melted it all yet. It's cold.

Yeah. Good 'hoodie under the jacket' weather. Dead leaves crunching underfoot, snow still clinging on in the shadows where no sunlight reaches, assuming there's even any sunlight to be had.

Hoodie + Shorts weather has ended, and I am sad. Jeans are good too though, so I'm down.

^Just checked the weather for MS and I was pretty surprised. Is it common to get down to the mid-30's?

Seasons in the south/mid-west have been pretty random these past few years. I was wearing shorts in January, and now I'm wearing three layers on my way to work in November..

It snowed last night. There have been some feral kittens in the backyard that I was worried about. I built a little shelter with some wood, an old kiddie pool, straw, and a storage bin from ace hardware. Looks like it worked since I saw all three kittens walking around in the morning. Trying to find someone to adopt them so I can trap them. Anyone want a cat before the winter turns them into ice cubes? I already have cats and a dog so I can't take them in.
