My wife's work hired a dude named Charles Wood. Mostly normal, but I laughed about Chuck Wood.

^How much?

My uncle used to be a priest, & he told a story once about chaplain-ing in a hospital where he met a mother in who'd just delivered a baby girl. They hadn't picked out a name yet, so the nurse had just penciled in "Female" on the birth certificate. Very tired & very drugged, the mother caught a glimpse of that & said "Fe-molly, what a beautiful name."
(I'm pretty sure somebody corrected her before that became official, though.)

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

There was an Ozymandias at my store for about a month ten-odd years back. Also I taught a kid named Telemachus archery up at camp one year. (Surprised his dad Odysseus didn't teach him. That dude knew his way around a bow.)

Because, "How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?"

You know...if they just named the girl 'Phasma', I'm sure people would still catch the reference.

If I were going to be father of a little girl, and me and my prospective partner wanted to give the kid a badass SW warrior gal name, I'd float 'Mara Jade' a ways before 'Phasma' (and a good goddamn ways before 'Captain-Phasma', incidentally).

...I'd also suggest 'Leia', 'Rey' and 'Ahsoka' before 'Phasma', come to that. 'Mara Jade' first, though.
