Stupid neighbours are blasting their radio whilst working on car and barbecuing.

The song currently being played is Taylor Satan------'Look What You Made Me Do'.

I'm not down on Tay-Sway (I thought 'Blank Space' was hype, ''Trouble' isn't as bad as people make out, and the 'We Are Never etc' is fine, for all that the music video is a puddle of runny yuck). But this song is absolute trash. Everything about it is repulsive. It's barely even a song--------it is to actual music what barf is to food.

Was Swift her natural born name? Is she aware of how weak of an attack that is despite being handy in Pokemon Colosseum?

Back when she was starting out in country, her manager encouraged her to change her name (she was born 'Taylor Hyperbeam'), in order to help her come off more down-home, less menacing.

So I'm at board games and the host put on a station that is currently playing Gangnam Style. Man, has it been a minute since I heard that song!

Dolly Parton--------'Apple Jack'

Man. Dolly's one of the real ones. That chick never needed no autotune, homey.

Chance the Rapper - The Big Day

I can't think of the last time somebody's fallen downhill SO QUICKLY between releases. Even Lupe from The Cool to Lasers wasn't this bad. Maybe Em from Eminem show to Encore?

Listening to Midnight Kids. This was one of the songs they played at EZOO I was dancing too. To say I was having fun was an understatement.

"Chicago" Sufjan Stevens

This was the song accompanying the slideshow of photos at my friends' son's funeral yesterday. I have been playing it on repeat for six hours.

Listening to The Alchemy Index by Thrice a lot this week. I bought this when it came out like 12 years ago because I was a teenager and wanted more of their edgy alt-rock stuff like The Artist In The Ambulance and was disappointed it wasn't that so I shelved it. But I dug it out recently and now I can appreciate this more laid-back experimental sound a lot more.

It's split up into four CDs with different elemental themes, and the lyrics to these songs all explore the elemental themes in different ways. The musical styles are different across each volume and are made to compliment the themes. The Fire CD is very heavy kind of metal ballads, with a lot of distortion guitar and screaming vocals. The Water CD is more electronic and melancholy, with more soothing melodies. The Air CD has more acoustic/clean guitar and feels more driven by vocals. The Earth CD is blues-y with a minimalistic instrumental style.

It's overall a pretty chill album to have on in the background, as its the kind of music that's better absorbed slowly over multiple listenings imo.

Tha Dogg Pound f/ Tray Deee - Reality

Perhaps my most unpopular opinion - Dogg Food is my favorite album from Death Row.
