Tim Minchin released a gorgeous song-------'Leaving LA'. Spoilered for language.
Spoiler.
It's so, so good. The music, the lyricism are both beautiful, and I just love stop-motion animation. This one's goin in the favourites, man.boo--------------de dirigiblez in flames, everyboddyz dead, and he lost his hat

Remember Summer---------'The American Dream (accoustic version)'
...it kind of makes me feel funny. The singer is raw. It sounds real.

Nine Inch Nails - Together
Just as I get back into NIN, Reznor and Ross decide to drop a couple albums of ambient stuff (which I think is the best stuff out of modern NIN and very underrated). It's a free download and otherwise available on all the streaming sites. Neat.

Kraftwerk - Europa endlos
RIP to Florian Schneider. One of those people whose influence on music is impossible to comprehend. But the fact that David Bowie named a song after him before Kraftwerk even released Die Mensch-Maschine and Computerwelt (and only a few months after Trans Europa Express) came out says a lot about their impact on electronic music, pop, and art rock/prog.

Re: What Are You Listening To?: Return of the Mack
I couldn't remember the lyrics or tune to 'Jerusalem' of a sudden, so I looked it up. Caught the version performed at the royal wedding a few years back.
Lovely song. Rather have that played at my funeral/hanging-gone-wrong/wicker man immolation than some piece of wank like 'Be Not Afraid' or 'Amazing Grace'. They both stink. My stupid-ass life had a sharp focus on archery----------let's have us a funeral hymn that talks about bows and arrows, for cliff's sake. Like why not.
...I swear to gosh, if someone plays 'Amazing Grace' at my funeral, I will climb up out of Hell, re-infest my corpse and commence eating people in cruel retribution. It's 'Jerusalem', or be thy children doomed and forfeit! Myahahahahaa! Thou fools!
