Re: Coronavirus/COVID-19
People are going nuts.
Running screaming into grocery stores in order to hoard, the same as everyone else is. Because, you know, slam-banging oneself into close proximity with loads of people never leads to the spread of disease.

Re: Coronavirus/COVID-19
Some tips from the CDC:
Stay informed, maintain good hygiene, and don't panic. Also, don't drink bleach.Clean your hands oftenAvoid close contact
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
- If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Stay home if you’re sick
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick
- Put distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community. This is especially important for people who are at higher risk of getting very sick.
Cover coughs and sneezes
- Stay home if you are sick, except to get medical care. Learn what to do if you are sick.
Wear a facemask if you are sick
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow.
- Throw used tissues in the trash.
- Immediately wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available, clean your hands with a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
Clean and disinfect
- If you are sick: You should wear a facemask when you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. If you are not able to wear a facemask (for example, because it causes trouble breathing), then you should do your best to cover your coughs and sneezes, and people who are caring for you should wear a facemask if they enter your room. Learn what to do if you are sick.
- If you are NOT sick: You do not need to wear a facemask unless you are caring for someone who is sick (and they are not able to wear a facemask). Facemasks may be in short supply and they should be saved for caregivers.
- Clean AND disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks.
- If surfaces are dirty, clean them: Use detergent or soap and water prior to disinfection.

Idk the lemon may clash with the bleach. I didn't know they made Knuckles tea though, neat.

I tried to buy gallons of water because my kitchen is being redone. And now I'm going to be drinking out of sinks for the next month. Thanks Obama.

you're spot on--in fact, Wiz also sampled the song you're talking about (Secret of the Forest) in Never Been part 2

Re: Coronavirus/COVID-19
But seriously. Be vigilant out there. Wash your hands. Even if you're a person who has a great immune system and you're not too worried about your own prospect, do it to prevent further spreading to the elderly and immunocompromised

Re: Coronavirus/COVID-19
well at least we're just pumping trillions into a plummeting stock market (after being told for months that medicare for all and student loan debt are too expensive) instead of using that money to help the average worker who might lose their job or help people get access to healthcare

Re: Coronavirus/COVID-19
Why toilet paper though?
I get hand sanitizers and cleaning supplies, but why toilet paper and not paper towels or gas or something similar?

Re: Coronavirus/COVID-19
I think it’s because people are afraid of being quarantined and then running out while they can’t leave the house to get more

Re: Coronavirus/COVID-19
...I mean, if you get quarantined, you just ration yourself. One square per wipe. If you run out of tp, go to napkins, or kleenex, or paper towels. And then, once you run out of all that...shower after every crap. Like why not. You're in quarantine, it's not like you have anywhere to be.

Re: Coronavirus/COVID-19
Technically if you're desperate you can get a dish rag, use it and then wash it off.
I guess some people find that gross.
(Also someone I follow said Paper Towels are the worst for that sort of thing).
The supermarket I have a reward program with already sent out an e-mail saying they're ready to tackle this head on, and to avoid making frivolous purchases on the items discussed so others can buy them. We'll see where that leads by the time Monday comes around.
