Be sure to crouch when you take stuff too.

I'm really scared they're gonna close the grocers before we move later this week. If that happens, we legitimately might run out of food.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

It won't be necessary for me now but this event really has me thinking about learning some survivalist info, like for how to procure food and water during disasters.

Didn't have church yesterday because of the virus.

Me and my parents are taking elderberry gummies, because they''re high in antioxidants.

I still trust modern medicine more than anything homeopathic, for a number of reasons, so I'm skeptical that any kind of antioxidant is going to do much.

In other news, my insurance lapsed in late February in what can only be described as considerably unfortunate timing. Good thing I barely spend time around people to begin with.

Yep, picked up one of those Bota Box minis yesterday. I've been drinking less than I used to, so it'll probably last me a bit.

I was calling people crazy when they were hoarding toilet paper, but we're about one step away from being forbidden from leaving home. Granted, there would theoretically be a grocery store exception to such a move, but people sure aren't acting like it. I haven't had to wait in any lines, but there are plenty of empty shelves. There's a lot of food to go around, but it may not be exactly what you're looking for or all at one store.
Competition is a good thing. It's a chance to crush people.

We actually just got an official order to not leave home, with exceptions for grocery stores or medicine or caring for somebody else.

This will last at least 3 weeks.

Everything non-essential will be closed starting tomorrow

same order here, but as my work is among "essential functions" I'm still going in this week. Hectic day of drafting and rolling out new wfh policy to prevent cyber attacks, as there has been a massive uptick because bad actors are taking advantage of security flaws in impromptu work from home scenarios.

aselia con cancelled. I kind of want to still go to Texas; I will just be meeting with 1 other person and otherwise don't really go out. I'm aware it's still increasing risk but if I do go I will be taking every measure to keep to myself and sanitize my environment. If it gets any worse, I will reschedule. Keeping an eye on the situation for now.

I'm more paranoid about being an asymptomatic carrier than anything else. But we'll see, I intend to be careful, and as things are now the chances I am are still pretty low.

Well, antioxidants probably can't hurt.

Anyway, this has become pretty scary. That's all I have to say.

I had a trip planned myself, but since I was going to drive I ended up taking said trip early. I've spent sooooo much on parking.

That's why I hate driving into NYC.

Also, I haven't stocked up on things because well to put it quite frankly. We demo'd my kitchen before all this started aaaaaannnnnndddddd there's nothing for me to cook with so I have no food. I have sink water though! . . . so that's good. I only have some cold cuts lol. I'm just riding this takeout wave into April. Also there's like 100 people that have it in my county. . . . so that's good. NY second most infections behind Seattle. Really feeling confident about all this. :help:

The FFV Four Job Fiesta organizer has a mini-event going on right now, Esuna for Corona—the party must consist of White Mage, Red Mage, Bard, and Chemist.

I might be able to squeeze some time in for that.
