This one, which was suggested by the LTTP randomizer people, is inexpensive and works pretty well!

Dead Cells : stunning visuals, frustrating difficulty, epic OST, it's an amazing metroidvania + roguelike game if you like really challenging game, it will make your heart race !
I also wanted to mention that I used the gamepad mentioned above but there are many independant games that do not detect it (including dead cells) so I used Xpadder to assing keyboard keys to the gamepad dpad and buttons, in the end it worked pretty well...though I realize now that the snes did not feature enough buttons for present games !

Re: Your most recent gaming-related purchases
There have been mounds of Animal Crossing amiibos at Toys R' Us. Nobody seemed to care about them. Now with the liquidation sale, they were like $1 and $7. This is officially "Why not?" territory, so I bought them all.

I bought the 2Ds just for the hell of it. It was pretty cheap.
Gives off this GameBoy vibe with that single mono speaker.
I'm extremely pleased with it.

Razer Blackwidow : nice keyboard but their software "synapse" will rape your privacy : it sends them the webpages you visit and your typing pattern, WTF ??????????? I didn't know this before buying the keyboard (obviously they don't write it on the box) so now that I have it I will not install Synapse and therefore cannot use the LED options, macro etc. Bummer. Still glad to have bought half-price, it's a nice keyboard though...

Got Castlevan... erm... Blood Stained Curse of the Moon, and Dead or Alive Extreme 3 Venus on my PS Vita. Any other recommendations for this system?

^Depends on your tastes. There's loads if you like VNs or JRPGs, but considerably less if you don't. And almost none of it is still exclusive at this point.

I like VN's, don't really care for JRPG's. What are the best VN's available?I am nobody wrote: ↑Mon Jul 02, 2018 9:55 pm^Depends on your tastes. There's loads if you like VNs or JRPGs, but considerably less if you don't. And almost none of it is still exclusive at this point.

The Zero Escape games, which are all phenomenal, and Danganronpa, of which only 1 and 2 are worth playing. The spinoff game is unbelievably bad and 3 tries so hard to be unpredictable that it forgets there's no point to an illogical detective game.Artemis008 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 02, 2018 11:13 pmI like VN's, don't really care for JRPG's. There's much more if you like the dating sim stuff that's usually associated with VNs, but I don't, so I can't comment on any of those. ZE and the good DGR games are around 100 hours combined, though.
I wrote more about the first two ZE games here and here if you're interested.

I also bought a (cheap) fight stick as part of an attempt to get into 2D fighters for the first time. And a second taiko drum, because I always need more taiko.
