Overpowered characters/weapons/items in games.

I'll start off with a well-known one: Bo Jackson on Tecmo Super Bowl. He's twice as fast as every other player, and he can effortlessly break tackles.

In case you haven't played Tecmo Super Bowl, this video should give you an idea of how overpowered he was.

overpowered villain would have to be sephiroth. the kingdom hearts boss fight is bulls*** to this day. I actually went back to it thinking I was older and wiser so knocking him off his pedestal on proud mode would actually bring about some form of self gratification i felt i missed out on as a child. I don't remember how long it took but I definitely had to stop and go cool off multiple times.

The BFG9000 from Doom is kind of stupid in the original games. Modern WADs manage to make it less overkill by throwing more enemies at you.

Spectre gear in the first 'Mass Effect' was super OP, even on Insanity difficulty.

Yeah, that Spec gear.

Some short way into my last Insanity playthrough, I tried modding Shepard's Spec X assault rifle with twin Frictionless Materials X. Spec X was already the best AR in the game-----------adding those two mods made it capable of firing endlessly without overheating.

One may surmise that, if shooting the enemy lots in the face is a good tactic, then shooting him way much more times in the face must be an even gooder tactic. That's logic. (Somewhere, the Heavy nods in solemn approval.)

If you play as Mike Vick in Madden 04 you're cheating.

The Royals in Fire Emblem Fates

They are super duper broken - between the brothers all having a super powerful weapon each, the sisters having some powerful AoE buffs, and of course all their passives and their growths.... yeah. They're broken as heck.

To the point in which well, they ridiculously outclass everyone on Revelation who doesnt' share some kind of niche with them. Unless you're fond of reclassing that is. This means that a lot of characters who share their classes (Subaki, Setsuna, Silas, Beruka) or their niche (like... well any healer that's not named Sakura or Elise. It's a given you'd bench Jakob&Felicia anyway) simply don't have any way to compete.

This is lessened in the other two routes - wherein you end up fighting the four you DIDN'T recruit with the exception of Elise. (I mean you could technically attack her but you have to go out of your way to do so only the only map she's an enemy unit on.)
