I read that the PC version of 3D Blast actually has a mod made by the original developer which makes it the best version, which probably translates to it being just okay.

Here's a tangential useless fact: The genesis version of 3d Blast has an subjectively* worse special stage with objectively worse music.

*depends on how you feel about the halfpipe and the genesis version's special stages being mostly brain dead in terms of difficulty.
