Ah, I see. Yeah, I just keep getting tripped up for some reason. Did anyone play that bull$*** match with Isabelle and Sakura on hard in the world of light?

I was breezing through every single challenge until I hit this one then just got manhandled for 20 minutes.

^That was me, except with the 9-Volt and 18-Volt battle

Also, I still haven't beaten the Dr. Wily one

I need to start a new World of Light campaign, my original run was before I downloaded the update for Hard.

Warning: The first update is coming soon. Offload your replays or lose them.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Is Simon's axe supposed to clip through the stage? That happened with me against a friend in Dream Land N64 stage. We were confused at first and when I checked the replay to look from a different angle, it totally clipped through the stage. He was underneath trying to reach the ledge and I just so happened to still hit him. Someone says that his axe still goes through things until it hits a player. Really? That doesn't sound. . .right. . .

I mean, that’s how his axe works in Castlevania, so it makes sense to me. The heck was your friend doing that far underneath the stage anyway?

Well, the game would be a mess if every move worked like they do in the games they come from.

If anyone’s moveset is deliberately intended to function exactly like it would in his original game, it’s Simon

I was trying to remember if that's how it worked in Castlevania but I've only played the original like a couple times.

He screwed up trying to get back on the stage so he got stuck underneath for a split second. In that split second, my axe went through the ground and hit him. He was Duck Hunt, so he was flying up. It was totally unintentional and lucky. I was aiming for the ledge so he couldn't get back on. I mean. It worked. Just didn't realize it would do it THAT way.

I just discovered the Beetle for the first time on that young link battle in World of Light. Did not understand how I kept dying. I thought Young Link had a cheap new power and I was fuming. Then I wised up lol. Missing the fourth smash has led to confusing moments.

Samus' missile is worse than ever, not sure why I expected any different. Missiles kinda just take a nap after being fired, then wake up, have a cup of coffee, and finally fly forward. What even...

Mess wish the timing, then. The little delay means you can initiate a combo and then hit someone into a missile that’s already fired

Marth is the only person I can get 9.9 with on Classic and I had to give it a second run in order to beat the Liolaeus. I gotta get GUD. UGH.

Yeah the missile delay is great for setting up. The only thing I find unfortunately useless for combat are Samus' bombs, but they work wonders for getting back to the stage.

that said, when I say "Samus," I really mean Dark Samus, who I've just been playing way more.
