We can do it all, every bit, if we are brave and sure.

Okay, Boo. I'm going to do another run of the game--one more upon the dozens--and it's your fault. Here I was planning on finishing Falesei for the Neo Geo Pocket Color, and Boo comes in waving his mighty flag of nostalgia, riding a banner of sheer epicness. I hope you're proud of yourself, because you should be.

Take a Farfetch'd through endgame. Level it up to 100, and wreck shop.

Kill Gary with Dux. You know you want to.

I'll reserve Gary's head for Haunter, my favorite Pokemon. Farfetch'd can have Lance, glory enough.

Dunno about doing another RBY playthrough anytime soon, but if I did, I'd absolutely have a Cubone/Marowak on the team.

....Cubone's Lonely, man. What a kick in the heart-strings. The poor boy. I mean, I liked him before I was an uncle and godfather. Now that the kids are here...it's good to shepherd the weak and meek, to dry the orphan's tear and help after the little. To chase after baby Iris and stop her falling down the stairs.

Cubone's original TCG art really reflects the character they gave him, terribly alone in the cold night. I liked the art cards had back then quite a bit, actually.

I'd catch him real gentle--rock him to sleep with some mildly toxic spore attack, and waste some Ultra Balls tossing them softly, underhanded at him uninjured. Then make him fight in savage battles for cash and glory, sure, but he'd probably like it, get his mind off the ache.

I'd trade Pokemon with you, Boo. Real intimate, named and raised ones. It'd be magical watching my Haunter skimming through a dusty old, frayed link cable to evolve in your loving arms. You'd do right by him, a Gengar now, all grown up. I can see you now, leveling him up, beyond what he was, fretting over what TMs to teach him. I'd almost cry, I think.
